# Quickbooks Integration
the app is designed to integrate with Quickbooks Online (QBO). With the integration, all sales (invoices and pricing) and purchasing (bills and categorization) are handled within the app and sync to QBO.
# Invoices
Invoices built in the app use data from: (a) product records, (b) production Batch records, (c) Pricing records, and (d) other items found in Settings
# Bills
# Email Bills into the app
# Product Items and Pricing
# Other Items
"Other items" are any items that may appear on an invoice or a bill, other than your own products. Products are managed in Products, and other items in Settings → Other Items. In each record within settings, there is an option to link the item to a Quickbooks Item. In order to sync an invoice or bill to Quickbooks, each "other item" on the document must have a connected Quickbooks Item linked in settings.
# Link to Quickbooks Item or Account
Other items can be liked to either a Quickbooks Item (e.g. "Non-Alcoholic Beverage") or a Quickbooks Account (e.g. a COG account "Non-Alcoholic Beverages for Resale").
# Quickbooks Data
When you first connect the app to Quickbooks, the app retreives the items, accounts, customers, and vendors from your linked Quickbooks account. This process can take a few minutes, and once this data is retreived it is stored securely in your Tenant Cloud Data. These lists are used by the app to show you available items, accounts, customer, and vendors when you link Pricing, Other Items, and Contacts to Quickbooks.
# Data Refresh
If you have made changes in Quickbooks and need to refresh the data in the app, go to Settings -> Integrations -> Quickbooks and click "Refresh Data". This location also lists the last time you or someone in your company has refreshed the data.
