# Release Board and Agenda
Two screens answer "what is happening, and what is owing?" from the same production data. The Release Board is a grid of everything a beer still owes before it can be packaged and sold. The Agenda is the production schedule as a chronological list.
# Release Board
Go to Status in the main menu.
Each row is a batch, anchored on the date that batch actually starts — the brew date, or for barrel-aged batches the date it was racked to the brite tank. Each column is one thing that has to be true before the beer goes out, and each cell says where that stands.
# What the colors mean
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Complete | Done — nothing outstanding. |
| Overdue | Past its deadline and still outstanding. |
| Due Soon | Due within 2 days. |
| On Track | Outstanding, with time left. |
| Not Started | Not due yet — no action needed. |
| Snoozed | Deliberately set aside until a chosen date. |
| N/A | Does not apply to this beer or batch — no linked beer, or not a release. |
The legend on the board is generated from the same table the cells read, so it always describes the states you are actually looking at. Turn it on from the board's ⋮ menu.
# The built-in columns
The board ships with six columns that read your records directly. They need no configuration and exist whether or not you use workflows:
- Production — has this batch been brewed, or racked from barrels?
- Label — is there label artwork on the beer?
- Beer Info — style, ABV and description, which sales and the website both read.
- Allocation — are there packaging targets on the batch?
- Packaging — has a packaging run been logged?
- Release — for release beers, is there a date, an audience and complete beer info?
Each has a deadline derived from the batch's own dates, so a column turns red relative to that batch's packaging date rather than on a fixed calendar.
# Boards per workflow
If you have workflows configured, each one gets its own board along the top. Choosing a workflow adds its task templates as columns alongside the built-in ones — it does not replace them. A workflow board is how you see, in one grid, both what the records say and what your team has been asked to do about it.
# Filtering and grouping
- Date range — which packaging window to show.
- Search — by beer or batch.
- Group by — packaging month, facility or beer type.
- Owner — only rows with tasks assigned to one person.
- All / Needs attention / Overdue — the counts next to these are live.
# Columns are yours
Open Columns to hide, reorder or remove any column, and to add a column for any field on the batch or its beer — facility, batch status, packaging dates and so on. Your arrangement is remembered per board, in your browser, along with the grouping, row density and whether the legend is showing.
On a workflow board, admins can also Save layout as team default from the ⋮ menu. That layout is stored on the workflow itself and becomes what everyone else starts from; anyone's own changes still sit on top of it.
# Dealing with a cell without leaving the board
Click any cell to open it. From there you can:
- Mark complete — if the task is yours. Managers and admins can complete any task.
- Snooze — to a preset or a date you pick, which sets the task aside without pretending it is done.
- Comment — so the next person to open the cell knows why it is still open. Comments stay on the task, and the count is shown when you reopen it.
- Reassign — managers and admins only. This moves the one task, not the rule that created it; the template keeps its own owners.
- Open the record — the batch or the beer, on the tab that holds the thing that is missing.
Built-in columns have nothing to complete: they go green when the underlying record is filled in, so the panel sends you to the record instead.
# Agenda
Go to Agenda in the main menu.
The Agenda lists production week by week: each day shows what is happening and where, with a chip for the vessel or facility and a chip for the action — brewing, transferring, packaging, releasing. Today is highlighted. Click any entry to open the batch or beer directly.
Use the Agenda when the question is "what is on this week?" and the Release Board when it is "what is still owing before this beer can ship?".
